You want to watch recordings
Use Microsoft Clarity. It records sessions, draws heatmaps, and it is free. Moxel does not record sessions at all. The catch with Clarity is time. You watch the recordings one by one and work out the pattern yourself, which is fine on a Sunday with coffee and less fine with 400 of them.
You want every number there is
Use Google Analytics. It has more reports than anybody, it is free, and it plugs into Google Ads. It will not tell you what to change, and it needs a cookie banner in most of Europe. If you have a marketing person who lives in it, keep it.
You want a private visit count
Use Plausible. It is cookieless, the dashboard is one screen, and it is paid. It counts visits, sources and pages well. It will not tell you which box on your form people quit on, because it does not look at forms.
What Moxel is for
One question. Where do people give up, and what should you change? Moxel tracks forms field by field, draws your funnel, and writes a ranked list of fixes that name the element. "Make the phone field optional" rather than "investigate form friction". It sets no cookies.
If that is not your question this month, one of the three above is the better pick. We are fine with that. We keep a longer honest comparison on the comparison pages, including the Clarity and Plausible ones.
TRY THIS TODAYWrite down the one question you want analytics to answer this month. Then pick the tool that answers that question, and only that one.
What the reel said
NARRATORDon't use my tool if you want one of these three things.
NARRATORRecordings of every visit? Microsoft Clarity. Free, but it won't show which box people quit on.
NARRATOREvery number there is? Google Analytics. Free too, and it never tells you what to change.
NARRATORJust a visit count, no cookie banner? Plausible. Nice, but a count won't tell you why they left.
NARRATORWant to know where they quit and what to fix? That's mine. Get it fixed at getmoxel.com.
