DOCSREADING YOUR NUMBERS

Every number comes with a sentence.

You will not find a metric on screen without an explanation next to it. Some examples of what that looks like:

Other tools sayMoxel says
Bounce rate 61%61 out of 100 people left without touching anything.
Checkout conversion 3.4%43 people bought something this week.
Form abandonment +12%18 people gave up on the phone field. Down from 22 last week.
Avg. session 0:48Most people stayed under a minute.

We count people where we can, because "43 people" is easier to picture than a percentage. Every comparison says which way it moved and from what. One thing to know: daily visitor counts start afresh each day, so someone who comes on Monday and again on Tuesday shows up once on each day. The Visitors page joins those up for the current week.

Your dashboard has a ranked list of what to change, a live stream of what is happening in plain sentences, how many people are here right now, people over time, a funnel with steps you can edit, forms field by field, pages, where people came from, what they press (with angry repeat clicks), the devices they use, and your own events.
